The trench we dug to hold the retaining wall block and the granite dust.

The kids have a new play ground. The dirt does tend to find its way into the house.

We will round of this corner with wall blocks instead of making it a 90 degree angle

The block on the left is the wall cap for the top, the one in the middle is the wall block and the one on the right is the inter loc edger we will use to go around the house.

These pics are of the stakes we had to put in the ground to make sure the trench we need will be straight. The trench will hold 2" of granite dust and 2" of the retaining wall block.

Some other shots of the progress. We found a large solid concrete column under the dirt and we have got no idea what is was for. Thankfully I was able to loosen it and Chad moved it with the skid bob.
