We went to Omaha to visit the Henry Doorly Zoo on July 1. We left home in the afternoon and stayed at a KOA located a few miles west of Omaha. We decided to rent a lodge for this trip and it was well worth it. The kids were able to swim, play mini golf and ride banana bikes. In the lodge there was enough room to sleep 6, all the dishes and silverware and cups, full size fridge, stove top and microwave.

Laura had made this cake for a customer and little miss lanae decided she needed to try the frosting. Not only did she scrape all the frosting from one side, but she got the other side as well.

Jacob loves riding his bike now that he has learned how to pedal. After Lanae learned how to ride a trike, he was not going to let her ride the trike without him knowing how to ride a bike.

This is what Jacob gets for falling asleep! Lanae found a black permanent marker and decided to "tatoo" his face. Even Dawn dish soap didn't take it all off !

Drifts are on both sides of our garage. I have to back the van in just so I dont get stuck coming out. The garage is a bit lower than the street so there's an slippery slope we need to get up.
